Jazzahead! is one of the biggest trade fairs on the international jazz scene. It takes place in Bremen, Germany during four days, from May 28th to May 1st. It features numerous conferences, showcases and a festival with participants and artists from all over the world. Each edition honors a country, and this year it is Canada that has been selected.
In 2019, 3408 participants (artists, programmers, labels, agencies, associations...) from 64 countries were there.
Naïssam Jalal and her quintet Rhythms of Resistance are part of the official selection, and will perform a showcase on April 29 at 5:45 pm for the European Jazz Meeting at the ÖVB-Arena in Hall 1. They will perform their latest album "Un Autre Monde", released in February 2021.
