Over the last 10 years, LEMMA, led by Souad Asla, has been making the music of the Saoura resound on stages the world over. These six guardians of an ancestral tradition combine voice and percussion in a hypnotic trance where the sacred and the profane meet.
To celebrate this decade of transmission and sharing, LEMMA enchanted the Détours de Babel audience on 4 April 2025, accompanied by exceptional guests: Noura Mint Seymali, Jeich Ould Chighaly and Samy Thiébault. It was a memorable anniversary, rich in emotion and vibrancy, and one that audiences won't soon forget.
