NUBU is a unique quintet exploring the boundaries between contemporary jazz, folk songs, experimental music and Afro-descendant grooves. At the heart of their universe is the serpent, a forgotten instrument and ancestor of the tuba, around which voices, breaths and instruments interact freely to create organic, moving music full of surprises.
Winners of Jazz Migration#10, Nubu will release Sisters, their bold and deeply embodied debut album, on 31 October 2025.
