The
Dakar Music Expo (DMX), founded by Senegalese promoter Doudou Sarr, is an important event for the African and international music industry. This event brings together showcases, concerts, workshops, conferences and networking sessions with key figures in the sector. This is an opportunity for French professional artists to initiate or strengthen collaborations with the music sector in Africa. DMX 2025: Jazz Focus From February 20 to 23, 2025, the 6th edition of the DMX will particularly honor jazz, both through the artistic program and the presence of many professionals from the sector. The event will bring together major players in the African jazz scene as well as several members of the European EJN network. The DMX will be held at the French Institute of Senegal, at the Maison de la Culture Douta Seck, and in various emblematic places of the Corniche des Almadies.
